Could barely get the 3rep set of 295 squat/225 bench today although row was no problem, gonna reset the 5x5 after taking a week off next week while continuing cardio with HIIT biking since I know that the muscle soreness/whatever it is is due to deep squats around bottom to begin the push back up...could be due to not pushing with heel of foot at the bottom...aka badish form

5x405 dead felt amazing, last rep was a tough one but holy fk felt good after

tried adding hiit biking after lifting and my quads damn near gave out, maybe ill try it again friday after lifting but with less resistance on the bike

ehh barely got the 235 bench for 3 rep today, next week is week 9 of routine so depending on how it goes I may reset then...or diff program for some variation

Added HIIT biking this week before roughly 30mins on treadmill and wow its a bitch early in the mornin, up to about 5-6mins with 30sec sprint/30sec quickpace on bike

maybe try resting your boobs for the bench press if you're not getting 48 h rest. it could be that you're not getting gains in neuromuscular facilitation--try inclines/declines or cables or a pec dec or something ... fly's? push-ups? change it up to get better results for power, strength or hypertrophy.

Failed on bench today, squat was a bit brutal but I pulled it through

Id like to blame the bench on the fact that i had to liftoff twice in a matter of a few seconds since some retard spotting me grabbed the bar right when I lifted it off...but I think next week is 1 week rest then reset

Trying to decide if I should fully take the week off of all forms of excercise including cardio, or keep doing cardio on like T Th S Su, or do cardio (biking) everyday next week since I am not going to be lifting weights

honestly if you are doing 400+, 5 reps a 500 pound deadlift is probably not too far in your future

Well I am taking next week off, and then starting 5 3 1 program since I used a 5x5 linear progression for the last 21-22 weeks...so maybe since now I will be doing one major lift a day I can get higher than I am now, in time...

Will proalbey start a new thread when I do start as a progress log for myself :donno:

option 2 is that my occupation requires me to know what that means (literally, it's on the licensing exam).

if his muscles and his brain and nervous system aren't working through constant and novel challenges together, he's not going to get as much bang for his buck out of his workouts. that goes almost without saying and the words used to say it don't make a lot of difference. work smart and get better results is the idea. you's trollin'
