i would postulate that often times you would find data that does not support a view so you are left disproving something, and you may potentially prove something with further research. you are in fact wrong.

i know that the derby is sposed to jinx you and fuck up your swing so u cant hit homers anymore, but corey hart hit 13 homers in the derby, and then just hit one yesterday vs atlanta.

maybe he didnt get phased?
