but yes the scenery here in oregon is amazing. quite the opposite from Vegas, I love it.

Joe I ate at that pancake place (we have them in Vegas but apparently the one in Portland is the original) and the bacon was so good. so good.

the coast is one of a kind. did you make it to cannon beach? great little town. tillamook has the cheese factory lol (they have more than cheese ofc). depot bay has this cool little spot downtown where when the tide is high the waves splash up and can spray onto the highway.

how far south are you going? where else are you going? oregon is awesome.

we went all the way to the top and crossed the Columbia river at the mouth. that is an awesome bridge. when we crossed we saw a legit bald eagle sitting on some wood. we did stop at cannon beach, got some vn1 ice cream and walked on the beach, very yuppie place. seemed like a vacation place for the lake Oswego crowd. we also went to the cheese factory hahaha. drove through depot bay, I went sandboarding on the dunes. stopped in Newport? for ripley believe it or clearly. we made it down past bandon but no gold beach before we turned around. were going to see the redwoods but apparently couldn't drive our rental car out of Oregon/wash. now I'm pooping from a motel across from the u of o campus back in Eugene. it's been a fun couple a days, tmrw showing sister around campus and driving back to Portland. will wave on the way ofc.
