It is possible to rest in the room of Ihlakhizan, which might prove useful for eating food and restoring stats. The resting spot is located 2 squares south and 1 square west from the south western pillar.

It is possible to stand in a corner while your allies are still fighting, so the boss takes longer to kill and does more damage to them so they nearly run out of food and die.
