getting back in shape via swimming is the best. youre sore in places you forgot you had muscles

anyways monday i swam about 2k (not much compared to what im used to, but i just dont have the endurance yet)
today i ran a half hour and swam a half hour, about 1500 yards

back on the train. I've had a Y membership for the past few months, and I was using the school's gym previous to that
I workout between 3-5 days per week depending on how much shit I have going on at school etc

As of last week, my swims look something like 3500 yards (2 miles) with main set of about 2000 yards
when I run, it's either for speed or distance, generally speed I try to see how quickly I can get to 3 miles, which is usually around 24-25 minutes, then I either run a mile at 6.5mph or just cool off. Distance I just leave the burners on 6.5mph and run for 45 min or longer breathing exclusively through my nose.
This week in Florida I've just been running the 3.7 mile circuit around the neighborhood in about 30 minutes when I get time before golf or dinner or whatever.

Goals:
Resting heart rate is usually between 55-65, BP is consistently between 115-135/65-80 at rest without medication. Goals here being maintaining everything in range here, where I am currently.
My starting weight a few months ago was probably 145-150, currently it's around 155. I'd like to get up to 170 if at all possible while still being lean, but I absolutely refuse to weight train. I'm in Florida now, and I usually eat myself into oblivion while I'm here, so 160 is possible by the end of the week. I have never been that heavy, but I am interested in carrying a little extra luggage.

agreed
swimming especially is going to build endurance and boost metabolism making it even harder to gain weight
and if youre trying to gain weight but not build muscle then i dont really know what is overall being accomplished

you can strength train in a pool, by the way. plus im not talking about bulking up, im talking about filling out. 170 is still a little under ideal body weight for my height, i should be able to fill out to there no problem. That I'm already +10 should be an indicator of that
