Reds sign Jay Bruce, Joey Votto, and Johnny Cueto all to deals avoiding arbitration. Plus the deals favor the Reds if they keep up their current production (likely) or get better (possible)

Brewers add the biggest name and sell more tickets

Yea plenty of Reds fans seem worried about the Brewers but I dont buy into it. They traded away all they had up the middle for Greinke so they are very weak there. They still do have a ton of power at the corners and a great top 3, but is that really enough?

whats wrong with weeks
they just need an SS and they'll be fine
their offense was NEVER the problem

Yea but they traded away their projected starters at SS and CF. Please dont say Chris Dickerson in CF cause lol him staying healthy.

The defense will be very suspect now though imo.

escobar was the worst hitter in the lineup
im sure whoever they replace him for will be equal
and CF is the only spot in the lineup then that doesnt have a proven hitter

im ok with 7/9 good hitters

yea but he was a good defender

assuming you bring in a rookie in and he produces enough especially with a barren farm system or picking up whatever free agents left is not a good plan imo
