So pumped about the Reds this season. They still will not be favored to win any playoff series until we got a true ace but there are 0 holes on this team. The entire team is deep with reserves in AAA. Heck our SPs look good with 2 of our top 3 out to start the year.

Yea but my point is even with injuries they are still looking very good with plenty of ML ready reserves. Its not a team that relies heavily on one player although losing Votto for an extended period could really hurt

i only know in 08(?) when lee went down we had we couldnt replace the hole in the lineup he left. not out of quality but out of the specific spot in the order, no matter how lou juggled it it just didnt work. shit happens, people dont step up etc.

but they look tough, and the 'stros are bad, so we have a known good (reds), a known bad (stros) and 3 :donno:s, we could be promising or horrible

Yea, only if Joey misses 60+ games will I worry. Although I think Jay Bruce could step into his spot and do a pretty dam good impression
