Its ok I've never been bothered by details like that, its the ride getting there in the show/book that is fun. Now all I have is motivation to keep watching

that was a great end to the season. so its implied then that walt poisoned the kid? i assume to get jesse pissed at gus and finally kill him?

well ya, i linked the plant to the poisen that almost killed the kid, but i dont get how / or why walt would have done that. i dont think its easily believable that walt would attack a child... unless he knew FOR SURE that the kid would not die

i dont want to think walt is the bad guy, but i guess we have seen him progress to finally murdering someone. I always thought it was the argument of "if its him or me its gonna be him"

did some online sleuthing.
the show began around walt's 50th bday and has only progressed over an approxim8 time span of 1 year, so that is a 1 year flash forward

also VG said in an interview (paraphrasing) - walt rose to the top ridiculously fast and should make for just as fast of a fall
