whelp, i guess melisandre should rule the world.  unless birthing a shadow man is not as easy as it just seemed.

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. They don't really ever say it in the show, but if you noticed anything about that witch's magic, it took a lot of giving to get the take out of the equation. It's the same for Melisandre's magic

Also, I love that you're awake at 7 in the morning watching this.

i am starting to get the feeling that no main player alive will hold the throne, or rather be successful at being king which is to say appease their enemies.  not that the game of thrones ever actually will end, it is endless.

most think they are players when they are actually pieces

this arya situation is really good, i dont know how they will play this
immediate next scene, the guy who cant read gets the note baelish left for arya
i didnt picture osha helping out the starks
the stolen dragons and the missing mormont from the scene. i doubt its him though, too easy.

i was thinking about 2:5, where that qath dude offered his riches behind the vault door. there is no way to know whats behind the door, only that "no man can break in". seems a bit odd to offer "look at what i maybe have" for you hand in marrige.

and in 2:6, where the brothers just leave jon snow to murder the girl, up in the wilderness i doubt they would ever just walk off and not watch the job to be done. i guess maybe they imagines he wanted to rape her, thats the only thing i can think of.

jon snow meeting ygritte is way more understandable in the books
spencer will probably agree that this is one change to the show that was pretty half assed

im still amazed at just how evil most peoples hearts are
jon snow cant win this battle with ygritte. they will fuck, he will like it, and things will never be the same
aaaaand now he the prisoner
jamie lanister is such an ass
what kinds of shit just went down in qarth lol
i love this scene with cersei and tyrion talking about how fucked of joffrey is. and how akward they are trying to show compassion to each other
i wonder if lady stark really is going to kill jamie. proal not, shes too smart.
and theon just signed his own death warrent. unless those 2 bodies are really the 2 orphans that were sent to the farm.

theons sister has no love respect for him lol
didnt think ma start would let the kingslayer go, not a good move
the kingslayer and brienne in a canoe, with all that armor on i would think he could just tip the canoe and let her sink. not that she would die but i imagine that a good 40 pounds of armor, seems its at least an advantage
bronn is great, him and tyrion are the good bad guys
some real fucked up stuff going on in the north, beyond the wall
arya is one smart little kid, naming the assassin
cersei has shae. i guess that was inevitable
aaand its roz, not shae
robs in love, something will surely fuck that up

about to watch 2:9
i dont even know. the lanisters cant really lose, could they? maybe joffrey dies, just because. i cant see stannis really being king though. and cersei could die as long as jamie lives (or vise versa) just to keep the hate alive. there is a lot of fire pots sitting in the cellar though, but what if melisandre really is there and pulls some witchcraft shit and since she wears red and fire is her friend?

why is dog suck a hard ass? poor bronn
hah, saved by the bell!
war drums
props to sansa for egging on joffrey
side note rhetorical question: why are the wolves totally mia other than robs? need more wolves eating fingers and such.
lol the "quarter man"
and i just realized the fire bombs are on ships sailing at their fleet. a solution to the catapult problem. not sure why i didnt see that coming, since its basically real history (spanish armada)
that was one hell of an explosion. nice green fire too.
im not sure what tyrions look just said, but i think im part hes not happy he had to save a monster.
a slice of cake, just waiting to be eaten
lol dog
cersei is talking out her ass, first time we have seen her "weak". or rather human. actually, not human or weak, just fucking power crazy and unable to be a human.
and she is about to interagate shea, wonder if she is finished
dog just keep getting better throughout this
they have really done an excellent job at showing a good brutal siege fight
joffrey runs to mommy. wonder if this leads to tyrion having the loyalty of the people over joffrey..
"those are brave men knocking at the door. lets go kill them" again, what a great line.
daddy lanister to the rescue

theres a story arc from the 2nd book that is completely cut from season 2 involving dontos the drunk guy who she saves from joff in episode 1
furthermore a bunch of great lines that dog says to sansa in the books are transferred to littlefinger on the show
