plus i dont think hoke wanted to run the score up on them

not necessarily. Sadly a nonBCS team(BCS buster) gets an autobid to the rose bowl, if ranked in top 5 i think it is. not quite sure how it works. ill have to look it up again. i think if wisco goes to NC, the big 10 lose there rose bowl bid to a top 5 bcs buster. I THINK.
