they need to fix the probowl though, the guy on packers.com had a great suggestion

make the probowl a game of bottom of the roster guys from both leagues. his idea was to choose two players or coaches from each league, have each draft a team from bottom of the roster guys and have a playoff and a bowl game. the bottom of the roster guys arent payed much so they would play hard for the money incentive as well as to prove themselves in front of the league and its fans

i would, cuz it would be the young upcoming players in the league, and it would be a full paced game with guys trying to prove themselves and it would be way more entertaining than a stupid twitter bowl with tweeting circles

and i would love the insight into the young players of the game

i think the argument of the packers.com editor was that young players or players that barely made the roster in training camp would be the target. not usual starters. i dont know what eligibility would be, maybe a salary limit or some sort of playing time in the regular season limit? not sure

it sure would be cool to see some of the guys get significant playing time in a game that means something to them, that isnt a preseason skirmish

He's got a point, but nobody wants to watch scrubs. Just like nobody wants to watch a pro flag football game, if you could even call it that.

the worst doctor interview ever

"does football have a direct link to ALS?"

answer

"there may be a link, head injuries are a huge problem, the number of patients ive seen who played football is very low, but a brain injury is very serious, it could be a huge problem"

i dont want to see a bunch of no names playing flag football in the same style of the pro bowl

in fact, i dont want to see a bunch of role players playing their own game period

this is why college football exists
