speculation after ep 9

nucky only really only has chalkie to use as muscle now, so he has to kill gyp with only that. i think he could get capone and chicago to help him too on the larger scale until his business prospects entice the room full of people that rothstein just fucked him out of. maybe the added booze from the mellon facility gets either new partners or takes some back from rothstein?

the wife wants to leave but ofc something will keep her there

i think richard will steal the kid and take the chick before seasons end

no idea how nelson plays into shit at this point

It seems that young ambitious white irish boys have a tendency to die around Nucky.

so nucky sent doyle knowing he would sell him out? "big bait catches big rat" seems to me to imply that was the plan, though it could certainly be revisionist thinking

edit: that was brilliant really. send doyle knowing he will cross nucky (unless he told doyle to do it but i think he was just planning on doyle being an opportunist). uses it to buy rothsteins help, who buys masseria. then slaughter his men as they leave, and sell out roghstein to the feds

Not in a million years did I think he would become the most awesome character on this show when I first saw him introduced at the hospital.

The presentation of characters in this show is very well done. Although the whole Dickie shit was kind of stupid tbh, overall looks to be a great season coming. The FBI becomes much more involved and fearful finally and we got Al Capone most likely to begin his ascension as the big player in Chicago.

Poor Eddie

also the fall of Rothstein and the rise of Luciano/Lansky seems to be what's on the table.
