Wow I still can't believe this is a thing. So, Kylie Minogue teamed up with múm, an Icelandic group with beautiful and mysterious music. Apparently it's from a soundtrack and got released now as a single. Kylie Minogue kinda has always been my guilty pleasure so this was a very un-expected but pleasant surprise.

Kylie Minogue & múm - Whistle At The Rain
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tuyJQtaq_g

My version is six minutes though (probably since it's a single and just not a part of the soundtrack, duh) and titled just 'Whistle'. Múm gets to shine more in the longer version, maybe it'll get uploaded in youtube soon.

Just came from Swans concert, it was pretty great. They played some new stuff along with material from The Seer. Also a song with the lyrics 'put your knife in me' was ridiculously heavy. In fact I thought it was an old song, like Filth/Cop etc tier old. Gira's stage presence is really unique and he can transform from a shaman to a care-free dancer (yes, he danced). Just hope he doesn't break anything with those acrobatic jumps. Only negative thing was that they didn't play Avatar. Also he was signing vinyls after the show but I had a bus to catch. Mirel Wagner was opening and she was a pleasant new acquaintance. Dark songs with nothing but her voice and a guitar. Written with shitty phone so I couldn't divide this into paragraphs. Also I've been up for almost 24 hours and last time I ate was 14 hours ago.

Yeah the 'knife in me' song was Coward. I really did not expect them to play the old, heavy stuff but damn it sounded good live.

Huh, so apparently Tai & Bart B More teamed up with The Bloody Beetroots for a track called 'Spank'. I lost faith in The Beetroots a while ago when they picked up guitars and shit, Bart B More is kind of hit-or-miss with me, usually ok in collabs and I've always been a fan of TAI. Have to check this out, but I don't have too high expectations.

...meh, it already sounds played out despite hearing it for the first time. Expected a better drop from these three, now it's just a fuzzy wall of un-surprisingness(?).

Feel free to suggest me some nice electronic tunes, I haven't found anything particularly great since Bitch Ass Darius a few months ago. Well okay, SCNTST' Sun King is pretty nice, best track of the worst (so far!) of the Miami Noizes.

10/10 trailer would watch again. Rubber reference spotted. Also that line-up looks pretty amazing.

I always get kinda hyped up for electronic music during the spring, don't know what it is.

New Baths is out (or leaked, donno), haven't listened through it yet.

New Justice live album out on May 6th:
https://itunes.apple.com/fi/album/access-al...&ign-mpt=uo%3D4

Kinda excited since A Cross the Universe has always been really special to me but I'm not a fan of Audio, Video, Disco. There's still some older tracks and I'm confident they can make AVD sound good live.

Skream, Mala etc stopped playing/producing dubstep and they are hopping on the disco/house wagon, probably because of Daft Punk. I hope they make better stuff than RAM, shit was bad and the only reason anyone enjoys it as an album is because it's Daft Punk.

Haven't really found any interesting music in a while, willing to take pretty much any suggestions, but would prefer: hip-hop, deep house, female vocalists or ambient.

Might go see Russian Circles and Chelsea Wolfe at Tavastia (same venue where I saw Swans, really nice place) in November. Wish I studied in Helsinki but instead I'm moving norther so it's even more expensive to visit Helsinki. Plus I'll be pretty much living off my savings I got from working for a few months so yeahh...

You really like Justice that much? I didnt think much of them, ill give them another listen.
Do you like Pretty Lights (Really good), Digitilism (hit and miss), Gramatik(hit and miss), Awolnation (hit and miss) discovered them recently.

Saw this over the summer festival, they are phenomenal live, really blew me away.

Yes, I do like Justice that much, pre-AVD anyways. Cross was simply ground-breaking and A Cross the Universe just made it a bit finer and more complex but at the same time more rewarding, plus the crowd's reaction on that album is a pretty nice add as well. The drops on Stress and Phantom Pt. 1.5 still give me shivers even though I've heard that album probably more times than any other album ever.

Digitalism is very hit and miss like you said, Pretty Lights and AWOLNation I only know by name and Gramatik I've never heard of.

Will have to check those youtube links.
E: Definitely liking this, thanks a bunch for the recommendation.
