hopefully the powers that be lets it run to fruition. might buy 1 stock tomorrow just because. its only $300.

bitcoin...only value is in reference to dollars, clearly a real currency since there is motivation to clearly spend it because it could be worth more tomorrow than today. what an amazing thing this is.

on june 11th we get a voice mail from a coworkers father the night before, John is on life support, we will come in tomorrow to talk. John is about 53 years old.
june 12th, parents come. John fell in the back yard, hit his head on concrete. neighbor heard and came over, performed cpr. john was clearly breathing for 5 minutes, EMTs get John to hospital. DRs find John also had a heart attack. theory is the heart attacked caused him to fall and hit head.
DRs decide to induce coma, lower his body temp to let him try to heal the most serious wounds. parents say John is unresponsive.
a week goes by, no word. assumption is John has no brain function and parents cant pull the plug.
today, june 22nd, John calls work and says after 6 days of being in a coma he just wakes up and is fine. hes at home now, 30 days rest and back to work. no idea if he had surgeries or what.

TL:DR - coworker was on life support for a week and just wakes up. hope to hear more of the story when i get to talk to him.

co workers heart does a full recovery, heart strength is like he never had a problem. though while he is on blood thinners he feels dizzy at work, i tell him he needs to go to urgent care. they discover he is discharging blood in his stool. thanks to the blood thinners they find he has colon cancer. he starts chemo wednesday.

so basically thanks to his heart stopping they find colon cancer in the earlyish stages. wild ride.
