Now that I've had the chance to play both betas, I'm very disappointed by D3 (ESPECIALLY graphic-wise) when I compare it to GW2.

Guild Wars sucked. Guild Wars 2 is going to blow as well.

Ok i'll rephrase, Guild Wars 2 looks really nice for an MMO. But keep in mind that D3 isn't necessarily an MMO than it is more hack and slash / story oriented.

But either way, I'm just stating this from a 'next-gen' gaming perspective, given you have the pc to run the next-gen games.

and seth, they're comparable games (if you've played GW1 at all), it's not like I'm comparing a FPS with an MMORPG.
I guess what I'm saying is that the artwork(& effects, sounds, etc)/gameplay of GW2 is insane compared to what I've seen so far from D3 (which isn't much since the beta was more of a demo anyways). I was personally kind of disappointed when I played d3 beta because it felt like the same game but reworked (same sound effects even, etc). Seems to me all the time they took to make this game wasn't worth it all that much.

The full-finished game might prove me wrong though, I hope.

my point is, gw2 wont have the audience that d3 will have, so it wont have the commercial success

if d3 is a bust, i will try guild wars
