the reason i stay away from amd....their shitty drivers
actually same goes for ati cards...never had luck with drivers and compatibility

so what graphics card do i get to max D3 without spending more than 150 and it not being a 6850?

the 680 (only one out right now) is $500+ if you can find it in stock
this is why I got my 580, price dropped due to 600 series coming out and I got it for $350


the lower ones will be cheaper of course but...who knows when they will be out, supposed to be on the schedule below...

yeah from the site i linked the prices look inflated, hopefully 650TI will be about 200 and ill get that

they'll probably fix it before release, hopefully.

I got the word straight from our QA department this morning.  Anyone with 12.4 will have to revert to earlier drivers.  If newer ones come before we release the game, they may work but that's not known yet.  They did emphasize 12.4 will NOT work.


I can't imagine AMD won't do anything to remediate to this

the only nvidia card ive ever had (laptop to be fair) the drivers were always a fucking hassle. my last ati card, 1950 pro, i never had a single problem.

you dont have to avoid amd, just cant use the most recent update as it apparently broke a few (most) games.
