canada - usa stream has a commentator with some fucked up accent, he sounds a bit like arnold schwarzenegger

switzerland - finland was pretty intense, most of the time we had trouble getting out of our own zone because of the fierce fore-checking and some defensive mistakes
after kontiola drew a very sketchy penalty in the third and filppula managed to make it 4-2 on pp switzerland pretty much gave up
glad to see jokinen and filppula get some points and finland manage to score more than one goal
next up lolfrance

nope
vehanen let in one goal in the third which was not that surprising considering he didn't have to do anything in the first 2 periods
i expected it to end like 5-0 but 7-1 is fine too
jokinen managed to score some goals after basically missing wide open net several times in the first few games, still not very impressed with his performance because he is constantly getting great passes from koivu and filppula
tonight we're playing against canada, yikes

2-0 lead looked good, but canada won with sheer skill
few defensive mistakes, different 4th line and bad night for lehtonen didn't help either

i haven't seen such disciplined team from russian side since mid 80's, because talented players they always had, but not discipline to see a single championship through
