just started act 1 hell with lvl 51 wizard and my 3k dps feels like a joke, fight with normal mobs takes a lot of time and fight with elites feels like some epic battle, where i usually die more than once

vit is useless less useful in inferno...especially past act 1

resistances and damage should take priority

I'm not that far along but i would agree as the first 2 acts are mainly about vit (restitance gear and damage % gear is harder to come by )
So it goes along accordingly, though as I'm working on my witch doc I can't understand why each difficulty calls for more damage and life but requires more mana which isn't very easy to come by early on..
What should I be focusing on for a weapon midway through nm and sucking BAD..

Are you melee?

I have
40 as my lowest resist
35% dodge
37% damage reduction
41,500 HP

If I get more then 5 mobs on me at once I have to hit serenity (immune to all attacks) or my HP goes down very very fast.

K spent some gold and my stats now look like this.

130 is lowest resist
38% dodge
40% damage reduction
36000 hp
2300 damage (was 1700, same weapons though)

I can see an improvement already, to my surprise the resistance to all elements also includes physical which seems weird to me.

Went shopping last night (insert inspirational witch doctor title), there is hope..
Damage went up 300% last night after a weapon and gauntlet switch

Probably the most under powered character in the game tbh, the mana drain is what holds it back..
After the damage gain I die faster in solo, :donno: can't win

Ended up just questing, just got to act 4 and did first quest then Ding, lvl 60. So hitting the AH now for new weapon, just bought one that was more then double my previous weapon and only cost 60k lol

Only at NM A3, gear blows, level 43 atm, was going to try doing solo Belial runs to improve gear and cash, can't solo Belial. Also, chat system is screwy, there's no pvp. I have to make a new game to go back acts, no pulic games that you can just pic, trade is fubared etc.

I've no-lifed this weekend, maybe I'm just burnt out.

I did like the story line.

Level 43, realized Monks got shit on last week and are completely nerfed.

Fuck you in your ass Blizzard.

Finally started playing a game with better combat mechanics than RS and get fucked by it anyways.

Look, I did the sorc thing in d2 for all my soloing/mfing/etc, I was hoping to branch out more in this game.

Nope. Either be a wiz or dh, because everything else sucks. Not like it matters for pvp builds, actually, wait, there are no builds, I can rebuild my character whenever I want!

If they sit back and buff sure, but they should be able to jump in the fray better than this.

AT the least, they shouldn't be as fragile as non-melee classes, but then them's the breaks for melee characters.
