Demo is out, skating seems a lot smoother but slower compared to NHL 12, but I really like the explosiveness. Also the goalie animations are pretty cool. Back skating is about ten times better than in 12.

Hitting reminds me of 11, guys go down pretty easily. This could mean balance and strength are not really worth anything in EASHL like in 12 if your guy does a backflip on every hit even with 80+ in both categories. Of course this is just a demo so I won't jump into too hasty conclusions. CPU skaters seem a lot smarter, especially in the corners. Can't wait to try EASHL.

donno if this year has changes like most years do, but i heard they reworked the retarded player stat system.

example: george parros was a 82 or something last year because his player type was "tough guy" and they rated him as an 82 for that position, not overall hockey player. this year he is like a 65 because literally he is the worst hockey player in the history of the game, but he can hit people and start fights

the change from legend 3 99 speed 90-something agility twf from nhl 12 to a slow-ass piece of shit amateur 3 playmaker is pretty drastic, can't wait to get the higher cards so i can actually be competitive in club games
