awesome suggestions

as this continues to become more routine and regular i have noticed having more ambition to cook

overall, i need to cut out the purdue shortcuts (sodium) and start grilling my own chicken

i have also introduced variance in breakfast by having a banana with oats, or instead of the apple, or somewhere in between
i also mixed oats with applesauce this weekend when i ran out of egg whites which was delic

the idea to add salsa to egg whites is excellent, i cant believe i havent thought to do that

first time i cooked chicken it was like i turned into a five star chef and was also the most delicious thing ever

same
plus i could cook it while im waiting 10 mins for boil a bag rice to finish
multitask like a true professional

Its the fiber, oatmeal, and greens or protein intake.

its not that its the fiber, but the amount of fiber proal. your body is not used to that, and there is a reason old people take fiber supplements to poop. :)

pooping is easy, its just this gas bubble bloated edge of my stomach cramp that has been lingering for about 48 hours
ive pooped (very small volume) 3 times today and farted like crazy every time, but its still not completely subsided

Start it now, your muscles are going to hate you the first few times anyhow so might as well start to ease in.

Honestly, being a totalitarian leads you to breaking down and binge eating, then goin back to bad habits.

Don't think days like that as cheat days, but reward days.

GZ on your progress so far ofc.

at least so far it has felt good to have routine

and i do think of it as reward
i drink a couple beers on friday nights
unlimited beers on saturday (usually 3 before im too tired to carry on)
and whatever dinner i want on saturday and sometimes sunday too

This is the atkins diet, it works well. My boss has lost something like 60lbs pretty easy doing it and he has many times before. Problem is no beer as you have to consistently starve your body of carbs

we started our diets around the same time
i've been following this since you started, and we lost the same amount of weight as well
between august 19- sept 19 I went from 180> 170
my diet is much different from yours though

i have one meal a day, and i eat whatever i want, as long as it's no more than 1200 calories
most of the times it's just a half of a frozen pizza each day
i've done this diet like 4 different times now and each time i've been able to lose considerable weight
I was 220 at my heaviest and i've been 170-180 for a while now
but one day a week i would go hard as a motherfucker and pig out
and this day was almost enough to completely ruin my progress for that week
here's what one of my weeks was

week 2:

August 26, 2012
580 (n1)

August 27, 2012
1400

August 28, 2012
1100

August 29, 2012
1300

August 30, 2012
1200

August 31, 2012
1100

September 1, 2012
3490
Total calories burned this week: 17850
Total Calorie intake: 10170
Total calorie deficit for this week: 7680 -2.19 pounds

lose 4 days of progress with one pig out session, but fuck it, still manage to lose 2 pounds a week

i've been losing the same 10 pounds and gaining it back for the last year and a half though
whatever
you're doing awesome though

dunno what exactly you're on, but I keep hearing good things about the paleo diet.

However say gn8 to dairy and beer if you do it.

week 7
current weight 234, confirmed on digital scale at gym

bought a digital scale on woot for like $30
im thinking my current scale was off by 5-10 lbs, so id put my total weight loss around 16 lbs

also +1 belt notch (3rd)

agenda:
-getting back in the gym very soon
-measuring food this week to accurately calcuate calories in
-added spinach and tbsp olive oil to dinner for ofc good fat and actual leafy nutrition sake

really excited about this "phase 2"

and i will not be doing keto at this time, the food selection is awesome but its too extreme for me to give up beer and oatmeal

thanks for keeping me honest
current weight 228.4 (-3 week)

i spent a fair amount of time at the grocery store this weekend
made some more tweaks to my weekday diet
lowered carbs and sodium, increased protein

will probably add a 170 calorie myoplex shake immediately after i work out and eat dinner around 7:30pm rather than 6:00pm

I used to use them. Then went to Muscle Milk.

Occasionally if I don't feel like doing the breakfast thing I'll have one of the Myoplex 42's.

It really is loads cheaper to do your own, but RTD's are just that convenient.
