so whats the gist of this xpac? like whos the bad guys and why? i dont really understand the premise outside of the giant turtle ofc.

We are the bad guys. We brought a war to a (semi)peaceful land and the spirits (Sha) of anger, hatred, doubt, etc were awakened. Sha were formed by the dying breath of Y'Shaarj (old god) who was worshipped by the local insect race (Klaxxi). Much like the insect races of Ahn'Qiraj and Azjol-Nerub worshipping Yogg-Saron and C'Thun.

All in all the game has vastly improved with the exception of a rarely spawning, heavily camped, world boss named Galleon who drops best in slot loot pre-heroic raiding.
