if it wasnt for ea / origin then i would buy it on general principle of simply being simcity
but alas ive already uninstalled the origin client and will hopefully not have any future experiences with ea between now and when they hopefully go bankrupt

I have fond memories of my youthful Sim City days and I was excited beyond words by the initial TV commercials promising a new release. The graphics looked incredibly crisp yet still promised to rekindle the soothing nostalgic bliss that only bittersweet memories of childhood video games can elicit. Sadly, online-only DRM combined with a deluge of negative reviews on amazon dissuaded me from making the purchase.

The nightmares are getting worse and the hallucinations grow more vivid every day, yet I regret nothing. I will continue to fight. I cannot-- must not give up.
