i've been shopping like a fag recently

a lot of natural organic goods. awesome healthy granola type bars with 10g of protein and 200 cals that are all natural. can post them if anyone wants.

eating brown rice or salad for lunch every day

no red meat, mostly fresh or frozen veggies as well.

cutting out all not necessary bread

eat more
1400 calories is extremely low, hardly enough for a teenage girl
i eat 2200 calories every day of the week, exercise the same as you, weigh the same as you, and lose 1-2 lbs / week

post your height / age / body fat and i will make macro recommendations for you

you really can eat whatever you want as long as you have a healthy macronutrient (carb / fat / protein) and micronutrient (vitamin / mineral) profile

heres the thing bill, why sacrifice lean mass (muscle) for the sake of losing weight faster?
when you starve yourself, your body is going to break down what muscle you currently have to sustain living

i hear you on that. that's why i'm lifting hard and maintaining 50+ grams of protein a day. taking vitamins. eating a lot of fruits and veggies. i admit i could add more fat in my diet.\

figure i can burn fat quickly (#1 goal atm)and slowly build muscle (#2)

bill,

you cant gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. choose 1 or the other. 1 requires a surplus, the other a deficit

i eat 50g of protein in 1 meal. if you really want to feed your lean mass and sustain as much as possible, you need to eat closer to your bodyweight in grams of protein

some good reads:

also consider that extremely low fat diet will fuck with your hormones / libido
i would suggest 1/4 of your bodyweight in grams as a minimum

i mainly use the regular web version at home or at work just because its easier to navigate than the app
but the app can scan barcodes which is pretty convenient
