cutler gets next year to shit or get off the pot.  there is no better alternative available.

theres releasing him and starting over

His salary is guaranteed and the cap hit if they released him would be insane. Better to keep him as a backup at the very least if they can't trade

not to mention his contract is more favorable in year 2 and 3 (2015 and 2016). so at the very least we draft a mid round qb this year, let him mature whilst cutler plays this year for us. then next year we could trade him as a middle of the road qb that can be outright cut at the end of that year. we wouldnt have to sacrifice a draft pick.

in their defense, there was a horrible PI call that was ignored. still, they found ways to lose.

how many steps more would the refs had wanted to complete the catch? nba players dont even take that many steps when they travel.

Call could have gone either way. Boys won last week on a questionable call. It worked for us this time, lucky.

I do think rodgers would have come back to win it with a fg though

agreed on all but the last point. i hate that rule though. dez caught the ball, made 2 steps, then the ground forced it out. i get that by rule its not a catch, but its a shit rule.
ohh well, seahawks going to rape you.

Ok, how do you disagree on the last point? after that play, the packers moved the ball down into field goal range. they had 2 minutes on the clock to kill. at the very least they would have had a fg attempt to tie, if the cowboys scored a TD + 2 pt conversion after the Dez catch.

the important thing to remember is that the call on the field was a catch and it got overturned with 100% confidence.
it wasnt a call that they couldn't overturn because there wasnt enough evidence
its a rule that is there that will be different next year

anyway cowboys were the easiest game of my life
though even if the boys won, they would still have lost to seattle next week. really this game was a placeholder

are you saying that the cowboys didn't try their hardest on D after the packers got the ball back? there were 4 minutes left. they still couldn't stop them even though they knew it was gonna be run run pass on 1st 2nd 3rd.

i bet/hope they keep the rule. in a league that greatly favors the passing game and recievers, they should at least have to definitively catch the ball. i know people are bitching and saying that "oh dez can definitely have control with one hand" but if that the case, then prove it. the ground shouldn't knock it out if you had control. shields knocked the ball out, dez juggled it, the ball hit the ground, theres no proof.

not even the people in wisconsin, at least their radio show, believes they can win.

Rodgers believes though, and that is good enough for me

listening to a packers fan seek sympathy is cringe worthy.  meanwhile whoever announces the game will firmly have their mouth glued to rodgers cock...

its such a disappointment to see such an top quality elite player suffer through such a devastating injury at this time of year, after all the adversity they weathered all year!

aaron rodgers just isnt aaron rodgers!

if only rodgers were at his peak. but that makes his spectacular play all the more amazing!

its almost like espn does not know rodgers is hurt. maybe they should have a 5 minute piece about his leg, and how he is so mentally tough. they clearly are not playing this up enough.
