imo they are the two funnest teams to watch and will make for an awesome atmosphere for a WS due to the length of time since they have won. Hell if cubs win chicago may burn down again.

whats most impressive besides hendricks dealing is that the cubs didnt really start hitting like they did regular season until game 4 of nlcs. I feel sorry for the indians if they keep it up.

Still going to be a great series. Be funny if we see Lackey v Bauer game 1

Being a Braves fan I have had to explain myself numerous times why I am excited about this World Series. As a baseball fan, this is probably the best two teams to watch right now for excitement and entertainment value with all the drama behind the "last time they were here". I honestly could care less who wins as long as it is a good series. If I were betting I would say cubs are a better team when they are clicking.

Although it would be great to see the series go 7 games and cubs lose on a Bartman style play in the 9th lmao.

Also will be interesting tonight how many bases get swiped on Lester.

since i live out here, i can at least explain. there is no other team. the next closest is the bay or denver. and those are hours and hours drive away. so most were just starved of being a fan. they dont even realize that they are "new" fans, only that they recently show it. no idea what they are like in the rest of the world.

i will grant you that the cubs fans i grew up with for the most part watched a lot more games every year than i did brewers games. maybe its my grandpa that makes me remember it this way, but he would watch 162 games a year for the past 30+ years if possible, no matter how good/bad they were. same with the bears

seahawks fans i know, however, all have no knowledge of the sport and say things like "Russel wilson is a hall of famer, best QBin the league" and then you ask them why they say things like
"oh yeah hes just so tall and strong and he throws the ball harder than anyone, never throws interceptions" then i show them his TD/Int ratio vs guys like brady and rodgers, and explain to them hes 5'10'' at best and they are very confused.
