Also getting very anxious for my new hop rhyzome varieties to show up so I can get them planted. My cascade vines are already 2 foot tall and 3x thicker at the base than last year

Big ofc, I refuse to brew less than 10 gallons at a time now.
I need to do some research and see if there is anyway I can partigyle this batch. I figure there will be some sugar remaining considering how much grain it is but I'm gonna have to continually add a quart or so of runnoff ever 15 mins during the boil to keep a volume of 10 gals poop boil.

So you semi fly sparge? how many quarts of water per lb of grain are you mashing with? I generally do 1.25 qt/lb then batch sparge with my desired final volume and always am fine after my boil

I recently acquired a monster 120 qt cooler so I started doing 1.5 qts per lb



How much do you vorlauf? And I guess what o mean is, do you vorlauf jst until husks and grains are no longer running or do you go until it starts running clear?

its odd how amazing it sounds when its all listed out, yet the beer is stored on 3 2-sided racks about 10 foot long, and about 8 sets of coolers on either side
when you first walk in it does clearly seem like portlands best beer spot at all
