had that, was a gusher (or w/e) popped the top and it basically exploded, 1/2 of it went everywhere, the other half was nearly all head in the bottle

:donno:

http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/2210/5653
its nb

belgians bring with them much higher levels of carbonation so that is clearly so surprising, just make sure it is well chilled before opening

its clearly surprising for it to basically blow up like i shook it up and have pronounced chunks of what must be yeast in the rest of it? ive never seen anything quite like it.

well it is bottle conditioned so that would be yeast yes, it could have been a contaminated bottle therefore being over carbed but donno

i lightly sipped it after letting the yeast kinda settle, and all i noticed was extreme carbonation.

It was a bottle stolen from the brewery that was put up for sale with the intention of being shipped to the buyer before the day of the release. So the person buying the bottle could be the first person to taste and review this years version before anyone else. I believe the legit offers stopped after the bottle broke the $1000 mark. Then all sorts of assholes chimed in to ruin the sale because of how wrong it was to sell the stolen bottle. I was really hoping that the brewery could have somehow used the sale to find out who stole from them but :donno: because of how out of hand it got.

clearly to mention if you had these side by side there is no way you could say the two were meant to be similar, even if they are the same type

And if it's because of my facepalm comment it's because you confuse me. Coming from the guy who likes ipas and barleywines it confused the hell out of me that you enjoyed a maibock better than an American strong ale that is notoriously hoppy

the ab may have been old? because it did clearly strike me as overly hoppy. its a good excuse to drink more in the future for testing purposes.

Holy shit, changes happening in good old PA!

Sheetz got approval for selling 6 packs

WHHHHAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTT

I SIGNED THAT PETITON!

The Altoona location got the green light to sell but distributors are already appealing it because they fear being shut out of business

IMHO sheetz is just looking to capitalize on a huge amount of sales in an untapped market.

The petition I signed was for removal of the case law and freedom of lesser quantities to be sold in distributors

in what shape was it when it got to you? i had to fill the top of the box in with random shit we had laying around at work, and the RR bottle really is clearly a good size for shipping with other things, it just didnt fit well. and the socks that smell like complete ass were adams, the wool socks were mine.

glad it go to you ya in one piece. you need my address or do you still have it?
