the beer list is way more extensive when you actually get there, they had a lot of interesting stuff. food was way overpriced, but still pretty good. then again, no one was there for the food and we waited an hour for a table to drink craft beer

and the verdict is...

it was very good
i went out afterwards for wings and i got a ranger IPA and the taste was still on my tongue
needless to say, the ranger IPA tasted like pure trash

but i must say also, the hype made me a little disappointed. it was definitely better than probably any IPA i've had, but it wasnt like 100 times better as the hype makes you feel

maybe its because ive had cigar city IPA, that shit was top tier and easier to get, idk

tldr, good, but clearly worth the hassle

like right now im having a 90 min IPA and its noticeably clearly as good
but i would way rather live out my days drinking this

the fresher the better for hoppy brews

everytime ive had elder out of a bottle it was pushing a month or more old. good yes but clearly amazeballs. when i had it on tap, it was kegged only a matter of days prior and it was a world of difference.

but like you said, its kinda hard to beat 90 minute freshies
