Took psych eval for Denver deputy sheriff today, now just waiting for polygraph
wow they really still use the polygraph? how do they use it? and if you're at liberty to tell, what was in the psych eval? mmpi?
CPI but is was heavily based off the MMPI2, total of around 680 questions on the CPI and PERF
damn that's a lot, did you do it in one sitting?

polygraph is a ploy, it's just to weed out the obviously bad liars and dummies who think there is actually such a thing as a lie detector test
yeah it's a pretty inconclusive method to say the least, but as far as i know there are ways of using it that are somewhat more reliable, like finding out if you have information that you shouldn't have instead of just detecting if you're lying
that said, it's pretty easy to cheat and doesn't work on psychopaths
