I'm a senior in HS. My school year ends on Friday because Seniors are done classes then. I live a lil north of Philly, Pa (like 20 mins) and I'm goin to Temple.

Basically.. my girlfriend is a Sophomore. Sooooo... she isn't going to see me anymore at school for the month or so left of school.

Also - she keeps getting worked up over the whole "I'm going to college and shes still in HS" thing.

Any ideas what to do?

I'd rather not drop her just yet as a girlfriend, our relationship is still mostly stable.

I've got friends with girlfriends that are still in high school

I'd suppose it takes some trust to make it work, and it's not like you won't be talking to her frequently on the phone/computer.

How far away is Temple from your hometown?

By train Temple is about 20-30 minutes.

It isn't as much as the distance between us but more of the fact that shes all like "wtf am I gonna do without you for this month until it ends."

Apparently she thinks I'll never see her and shit because she got grounded because one of her asshole friends told her I got in her pants.

its a test for u and her.
2 things can happen:
1. Ur relationship becomes more trustable and will be closer
2. In few month latest u live new life, she live ne w life, u re not closer anymore to her

Thats life and u can learn much with both things.
Don`t worry, all will be good later.
And 1 month isn`t really long. U will see. (if i udnerstood right that u will not see her 1 month)

So tell her you'll try and visit as often as you can, once every couple of weeks or something... If it's that serious you're going to have to, I'm going to assume her parents won't let her visit you at college if they grounded her for what her friends say.

theres no way in hell they would let her visit me in college. Hell, they don't even let me pick her up for dates, I have to have a parent drive the entire thing so they think we don't screw around. We still manage to get away with it but its fucking annoying. Me being 17 and her being 16 is quite a bugger. (I skipped 6th grade)

Go ahead and try to let things work themselves out over the next few weeks.

Let her know that you want to maintain a relationship, 20 minutes is not far away. If you care for her, don't cheat on her at school unless you are ready to hide that from her (I am perfectly okay with this, what she doesn't know, won't hurt her).

Things will be okay between the two of you since you really aren't far away at all. I have a friend whose going to marry his HS Girlfriend and he was in College a year or two before she went up there.
