hypothetically speaking, if a woman initiates a one-on-one get together, where the plan is for her to help you shop for new dress clothes, and then go to the movies afterwards, would you consider that a date y/n

also, she broke up with her boyfriend the same week, or is in the process of (was 3 year relationship)

thoughts?

I would consider that a date, first and foremost, if you made it clear to her that it IS a date. If she thinks that it is not a date, then it is not a date.

She could be looking for friendship after her long commitment, you need to state your intentions very clearly.

"When we hook up" could be as simple as "when we meet up to help you (white guy with no style) pick out some clothes that I think might help your (weak) game".

It might also mean that she wants to get some dick...

How is her body language when she is around you in person?
How does she talk to you? Does she unburden herself to you, or does she ask for your advice? Both could be the same thing.
What color is her boyfriend? This could or could not be relevant.

Has she ever been romantically involved with a white guy before?

Inviting sexually, or as a friend? Being flirty, can be perceived as sexually, when she thinks it is as a friend.

IMO, the best thing you can do is to make a move when you go out. Do not be worried about whether it "makes it weird" between the two of you later, state your intentions clearly, you obviously want to stick the biscuit in the basket, so don't shoot yourself in the foot first and float into the frienotgettingpussyzoned.

PS - I've told 3 girls this year, many, many years too late, how I felt about them, knowing it was the complete wrong time to do so, but at least I got if off of my chest and can say that I no longer have any regrets.

PPS - I also no longer think about these girls that I would think about constantly.

its just that the timing is so bad (holidays)

id really rather do/try nothing until after new years

and yes she would date a white guy, thats not an issue

If she does think of this as a date, then waiting until after New Years wouldn't work, she is interested now and a lack of response wouldn't sit well for 2 months.
If she doesn't think of it as a date and wants a friend/companion, then waiting until New Years would be good, and New Years itself presents a great opportunity.

I think the best way to judge what she wants is by how she acts while shopping for clothes, as well as the movie you are going to see. It seems that she does think of it as a date, but if you're not sure you can wait for one of the "subtle" (obvious) signals, such as helping her zip up a dress or anything close to that involved with trying on clothes, as well as the selection of movie.

Once again, make your intentions clear. That's the best piece of advice that I can give.

That's not always true. And sometimes, letting a girl pick a movie she likes turns her off. If you pick the movie you want to go to, it shows integrity. That's pretty huge.

Besides, look at it the other way. When you make you happy, there's a better chance you'll make her happy. Why are you placing more importance on her than you?

GODDAMN IT MAN.

Ew, dude, are you serious? The man in the relationship is supposed to lead. If he doesn't lead (early at least), it sets a precedent that will leave her unsatisfied.

Guys... I don't care if you're good or not with dating... but if you aren't and you know it, please don't try to advise someone else! You're potentially ruining the person's life so what, you can feel a little more like an expert on the issue?!

How selfish!!

so i submit you all should stop being selfish and let mox advise the man
