half of those places he listed are good, but idk how i would start a conversation with a girl sitting at a coffee shop table alone.
parties/class i can talk to any girl that isnt completely out of my league without being to nervous, but i have never even attempted to talk to a girl i think is cute at a coffee shop or park.
just seem like a creeper.
iso halp, im sure gary is thinking the same thing or maybe im out of place.
Is she reading something? Ask her about it. Make a joke about her boring she is to be reading at a coffee shop, and lighten it up with how boring you are that you aren't reading at the coffee shop. It's probably one of my favorite places to sit down, bullshit, enjoy some coffee, and waste time at. If I had a laptop I don't think I would ever be home. A girl at the park is not there for chance, is she walking, is she walking a dog, playing a game, [etc]? Ask her, find out, smile at her, talk to her.
One of the hard things to do with "meeting girls" at places, is to remember that you aren't really trying to fuck them, you're just trying to get to know more people and extend your social circle. Also, another great place that I forgot about is any type of "venue". I mean concerts, fights, shows, [etc]. Depending on what type of venue you are at, is what type of chick you will meet (predominately, but not always true). You're up north, there has to be shit happening all of the time within a few hours of you. Go see some of it, get out of your house, make excuses to not do coding [etc] for our dumb asses.
Also, go visit mates. Go see Dan, Steve, Tek [etc]. A short weekend trip isn't going to kill your wallet. Some gas money, I'm sure the stay will be cheap, aside from drinks & food. Going to new places and have the feeling of traveling and doing something new and exciting always invigorates ones self esteem and confidence.
You have no idea how bad I want to go to Canada to see this girl right now.
