Go for the "single but not looking" approach (Joe's second choice) or just tell her you're not interested in her nicely.
DO NOT tell her that you are gay
DO NOT tell her that you are not single if you are, because that just tells her to come back later, and opens up to a lot of questions about your relationship

Yeah i have been going around the "i like being single" approach.. ive been ___ing replying her for a good 12 hours now... i think she might get a hint. Funny cos the girl that i am interested in gave that excuse to my friend and it was so transparant
