i thought i would try something hoping it would work in my favour.
i got myself a weapon with
+1 to 108 life per kill
thinking when my life gets low i could equip it and kill some lvl 1 monsters and hopefully get good life after i kill them, pffffft that attribute sux big time. average of 4 life per kill with nothing over 9. very regularly 1 life per kill.
so if your thinking of what i was thinking save yourself some time and forget it

Life per kill is only functional as another way to increase regen speed.

well yeah that's what i was hoping for but the life i was getting after the kill was so small it wasn't worth worrying about.
it had 1-108 and i never got over 9, even if it was around 50 it would have been worth it. lvl 1 is a 1 hit wonder so 1 easy click kill and get back 50 life would be nice. 10 easy kills and thats 500 life back.
it didnt work however as all i was getting back was very low, mostly 1 life.

It is... or was in beta. I haven't played since the second day it was "released", though.
It was to prevent you from killing mass low levels to regenerate life more quickly so you could go back to slaying higher level monsters.
