(I am a noob...lvl 20)
I was reading the guides for Fighters and they stressed dex so I went on MP and bought an armour for +12 dex and a charm with +13
However before that I was using:
Mythical bronze plate mail
Defense: 8 to 26
+8 Strength
+4 Vitality
+139 Max Life
+2 Extra Item Slots
+1% Block
and
Arcane lightning III
Spell Damage: 3 to 31
Magic Cost: 25
+185 Max Life
+1 Extra Item Slots
+2 Critical Strike
+1 to 4 Magic per Kill
+1% Life Steal
+2% Critical Flux
Those 2 (armour + charm) were found by me, so i'm not really losing any [unit not allowed] over this.
Just wondering if i should continue with the dex items or use the extra life + such from my old items.
Thanks

use the dex items. though they don't have that much dex to really help you out, your regen time will be less without the +life.

don't get me wrong though, a +25 boost to dex will be noticable.

It is certainly a trade off. With more life, you get a single kill better, but regen is longer. With more dex, you just have to get a few clicks into the battle and judge whether to run and regroup or not, but your kills should be more evident earlier in the battle.

Yea, my weapon(s) aren't very good:
Rare steel sword
Level Req: 10
Damage: 7 to 72
+1 Extra Item Slots
+2% Life Steal
Angelic fine alloy axe
Level Req: 20
Damage: 59 to 71
+18% Enhanced Effect
+1 Vitality
+6 Intelligence
+1% Mind Numb
But im liking the consistancy of the axe a lot more so im using that atm.

Oh...does it? I thought enhanced effect already shows up on the item. So I was thinking the sword had +1 max but its min sucked so might as well use the axe for consistency.

well, yes. figure the dmg just like d2. add then together, divide by 2, and you have your average dmg. swords have higher crits, but you have a lvl 10 with no ee compared to a lvl 20 with ee, albeit not a ton of ee. still, lvl 20 >
