I've got like 2.5k points on my Rank, but the site list puts me at #14 or so with like 300 score? Is that list based off of time played?

you might have clicked to sort it by time played or some other best friend parameter

@stakem, those are for global (aka every server that runs hlstatsx combined) stats, we arent on those yet

what's max gained?

and maybe the ratio should be more like 1:.75, a little more balanced. but that's just me. I die alot, and don't seem right being on the top list.

its still lacking something, like joes been saying "it doesnt scale right", it does seem like if someones more than 1000 difference, its always the maximum/minimum
im trying to see if i can change that somewhere so its more like 3000 range for the maximum to kick in, so its not always the same points per each kill and death
have not found an option for changing that and looked through every admin page in both interfaces so donno

an alternative for what we could do is
change points back to full lose for victims, change max back to 15, but make "x number of kills be required before you earn regular points", meaning that people who just join will always be counted at the minimum points for killing and getting killed, which would be 5 points until they hit the x amount of kills, upon which the max would kick in
^ that seems to be used on most servers ive been in, never really understood why though until now

and what would the min kill # be

50 seems to be most common on other servers, and is the default

i changed the time in between rounds to 5 seconds, so it wont switch people immediately resulting in the oppsite victory/failure sound to be played, since that confuses/angers some people
so restart the server some time when theres no one on for that to take effect
