which is why i really hope d3 is about the actual gameplay instead on focusing on gearing characters for end-game/pvp who wont even experience the leveling themselves
I just think there needs to be a balance.
I still think gear should be a focal point, but in some way make the gameplay more important at the same time.
we all want d3's endgame to be more like wow's endgame, but keeping the base mechanics of d3 (there isnt one person tanking, there are no healers, theres no specific strategy required for boss fights)
Which I think increased co-op would be pretty GG but the idea of perfecting gear is fun to some.
I mean I get a kick out of perfecting gear.
The only way I could see it actually be able to work is to just have rares and crafting.
Similar to classic.
right, but the point of perfecting gear in d2 was what, so you could pvp better or do baal runs faster?
pvp should be more about skill, less about having the perfect gear, i dont know what it was like in d2 because i never did SC
pve is cool to have the absolute best gear, but really, can you see the difference between the average character and the perfect character in pve (assuming same character class, skill build, etc)
