well thats good, even though i went 3-2 in placement i still was placed platinum, could be worse

this is how i roll in platinum division brochachos

all the rest of those people are top 8 in their diamond divisions, ive played 7 games in the last year and a half

protoss is so easy to keep your macro up, so easy to be running 1 or 2 main production facilities (colossus in that game) with 5+ warp gates as resource dumps

had chargelots, blink stalkers and meni colossus who were almost 3/3 upgrades

oh and the kicker for that victory, apparently the other team was a 3v3 arranged team, dont know why us 3 random people were put up against an arranged team but i beat them down

reading some changes coming with heart of the swarm, it all sounds pretty logical

working on those nerd points, only things left for campaign are the starship tech upgrades and vehicle tech upgrades, and the 8 hour campaign completion

seeding my 1v1, first match was a bronze player, second match was a silver player

i like the PvZ opening of forge/cannon at your natural, i accidentally walled myself in on the second game so i had to make a couple void ray, paid off because i killed opponents spire while he had only 1 wave of mutas spawning which i had stalkers for

next map against another silver player, PvP this time, used the same strat and smashed him

entombed valley, boss map for this strategy

fourth match against another silver player, he was zerg and fast expanded into mutalisks

i couldnt smash him early because i still am cautious so the game ended up lasting 34 minutes and we both were mining our half of the map

if he was more skilled he would have probably smashed me

damnit lost my last placement match, was a PvP that i didnt have enough units made at the time to defend an attack whilst i had a superior economy

my 53 probes to his 26, damnit

note to self, always make an immortal for mirrors

i think the only match i can win is PvZ

anyway still placed in a platinum division

how hard is it to make master 1v1?

i dont think i would have a problem if i put some time into it and played like i used to

not hard at all imo, just grinding out games will get you there.

why would you have to grind games though, isnt league placement still based on hidden elo and not by points

yes, but I'm simply stating that if you're just a ladder warrior and play a shit ton of games you can easily get masters. (there's some shit people in there)

But if you win a bunch and start trading 50% of the games with master players you can get their easier.

masters has unlimited divisions just like the lower ones too right

20% bronze
20% silver
20% gold
20% plat
18% diamond
2% masters
top 200 grandmasters

or very close to that.

I believe all my races are at least low masters skill level, but my Zerg is probably higher out of the 3.

So if you want builds or practice games just lmk.

and masters is probably the skill level of like korean servers gold league

masters league on north america probably corresponds to korean servers gold league*

More about diamond. Usually people who play on the Korean server drop just 1 level.
