Should be interesting playing this game with a m8. My main is level 35 and I'm going to try and level him up to the new level cap which is 42 I think. I'll make a new character with you if you want. Defiant seems to have a heavier population, still can't remember my server name.

gonna read up about it tomorrow more, im thinking of going with warrior class

They've made the transition very easy for someone who has played WoW. I don't think it's really complex or hard to get into at all.

Here's some basic stuff that I see most people ask when playing:

Mounts:
20, 40, 50 (no flying)

Level cap:
Next beta 42, retail 50

Currency:
Gold (general goods - from quests/mobs)
Planarite/Sourceshards/etc (planar goods - from rifts/footholds)
Favor (pvp/pve gear - from pvp/battle grounds)

Reputation:
Works very similar to WoW. Factions have quartermasters (very much like WoW, enchants, recipes, pets, mounts, etc.) and there are PvP factions.

Durability:
Equipment durability is represented as soul damage. 10% is lost after each death and 50% for resurrecting (rez sickness). Your soul can be healed by a healer.

Skills/Respec/Roles:
You can respec for a price at your class trainer.
You can do a daily for each soul you did not choose of your original three, thus gaining you that soul to use in a new role.
Roles are separate specs (3 souls) that can be purchased and interchanged.

Fast Travel:
Each zone has a porticulum (sp?) which will allow travel to other discovered porticulum.

And everything has a shared GCD.

Server is Deepwood, not sure if I will use the same upon release.

I don't know anything about Warriors. I wouldn't worry about builds until closer to end game. Just play and have fun using what you like while leveling.

You're also going to need to uninstall the beta client, download the new one and install it, then patch it. (lul)

Once you get all of the extra soul quests done it won't even matter, especially if they leave the respec perimeters how they were during beta.
