Diablo 2 clone done right. Skill system is pretty unique and the passive skill system actually enables (for the first time?) unlimited different builds (http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/).

If anyone is interested I think I have a friend key. Otherwise it's $10 (minimum, more gets you fluff bullshit) for a key to play forever.

Played the beta

Game was alright, but there was way too much iffy shit about how strong certain shit was.

Basically every melee used flicker strike late game and Wizard's just got ice spear and used increased area of effect spells and max critical with it.

Every time a cookie cutter emerges they intentionally nerf it it seems, at least lately.

Pay for our half finished product so we can use that profit to finish the game, then make no additional money and be forced to shut down the servers two months later

i signed up for this beta like a month or so ago on reddit. looked pretty cool from what i saw.

where have i seen that before

Currently at the most difficult part of what's in the game right now. I get one shot by most of the rare mobs, still fun though.

Yeah, you basically need to be able to kill stuff fast or used flicker strike so you can not get hit as much.

Still interesting, still looking for m8s to play until D3, etc.

I play with a buddy of mine. Used to have a AoF Flicker Strike Templar last ladder.

I'll maybe play some once I get the new PC built. Are you playing in any leagues or just legacy? If you're just playing legacy I proalby have tons of frees.

Only played once since I bought it, started a HC guy and died immediately on the first 'boss' hah.

Really haven't played it enough to bother with leagues - pretty sure one was starting up soonish though.

Game is too hard for HC, at least later on you'll run into reflect damage elites that instantly kill you before they even come on screen.

yeah, no reason to not try it though since your character just converts to regular if you die

I played an AoF (I think this skill was actually removed completely due to how OP it was with stacked crit/ele dmg) ranger when I played and constantly died from simply shooting off the screen in Maelstrom and hitting something nasty I hadn't seen yet.

I know they've done a lot of upgrades to some of the gameplay systems (droppable maps, etc) since I've played so it will be interesting to try again.

The currency system is really a good idea as well, despite having to always stay up to date with the current ratios. It's refreshing compared to a gold based economy.
