FFT > FF6 > FF7

I like your style.

It's really good and it introduces the advanced mechanics that are used in the later FF games (chaining skills, multiple side quests, superbosses, etc). I would start with 7, then go play 6, then jump ahead to 9, then play 10, don't even bother with 12, and then go play 4, then tactics.

if i were you though i'd just wait til they release it on steam.

its a solid choice as far as FF's go. just whatever you do dont play VIII or IX first, they will likely ruin the entire series for you

VIII will definitely ruin the series for you if you play it first because it's so ass backwards. I was pretty pissed off at it until I was a late teenager and the I understood how it worked and then it was actually pretty fun to play. Play the others first though. That's the first one where they nix Boss EXP, nn rage.

Do yourself a favor and buy a Super Nintendo and a copy of Secret of Mana after you delve into the FF series a bit.
