just played a game where 20 min we were confined to our base, aliens throwing ones at us. commander rage quits, new guy gets in, we systematical start taking rooms back, aliens are fucking horrible at attacking at once apparently, we eventually win in a 50 min game

expanding, holding ground, no losing and retaking the same point only 2 points away, getting second command spot locked down. im far more familiar with the marines though, and its just a feeling. did they get ones before you even have jet packs? are skulks killing you in one hit?

i mean from a tactical standpoint
realizing you are behind because youre getting killed in 1 bite doesnt exactly help you decide what to do strategically

you skipped everything else i said. stop that.
look at the map. how much do you have, are you effectively holding it? for marines phase gates are huge, are people using them to get to points to defend? is your commander building things that help you keep important points? are the aliens being effective at hit and run, making you run back and forth?
