looks like the amount of people who know the most simplest tactics for alterac valley went from about 10 out of 40 people per raid in wotlk to 2-5 out of 40 now

and this is the winning team, i cant imagine what the other team was dealing with

Blacksmith is pretty expensive iirc.

Plus with tailoring it's just cloth that everyone gets so it's cheaper ofc.

arent all the tailor specific boosts only for casters

heres a free 80 and 7 days from scroll of res, youll make it to 85 in 3 days then want to keep going, mists of panda is on sale for $30 by the way!

played some more av's, theres a much higher percentage of people who understand the bg on saturday afternoon than friday night i guess, or just in the games i was in

the biggest problem is the people who dont understand, yet bark out orders like they do (aka, we have 1 tower left to take which has 1 minute on the timer, when the other side has 2 towers left to take with 3 minutes on their timers, and faggots spamming "we need to kill the boss right now or omfg we lose look at map fag yolo swag faggots)

in that situation our team probably has less than 150 resources which mean we will lose when the enemy burns the 2 towers left, but we have a 2 minute window to kill the boss (without helpers) before that happens

and in the non-max level brackets, the AI's (tower archers, bosses) will rape your team since no one has good gear, but theres people who insist, hey lets just pull the boss now, we can do it with 1 tower, ive seen it done so many times on my max level character who is a raid geared tank with healers!

well ill be 85 in a hour or two, who wants to buy me panda expansion and a time card?

in summary, AV has always been same shit, different expansion

its nicer that theres now 500 tickets instead of 600, it doesnt take 25 minutes to win off kills if neither team can take a fourth tower/boss

looks like blizzard learned that mounts arent automatically cooler just because they are gigantic

every av loss is for the same stupid reason, doesnt have to do with being out-matched, or having no healers, its just peoples lack of knowledge of how to play the bg

im playing in the 85-89 bracket now, and theres more people that understand to sit 5-10 people in the towers as the rest of the team continues south, but if the horde send 15 people at a tower and it dies, the rest of the alliance will already be at drek standing outside

even if we hold our top 2 towers at the time the enemy backcaps a tower (which means a fresh cap would still burn before our top 2)

people stand outside drek and spam shit like "we need to kill drek now, forget about ibt, theres no time", then those 15 people proceed to pull and die, usually multiple times

mac is doing ulduar right now

I still have no clue how to win a BG, I only run around for HKs ans hope we win.

Also, I thought Alliance always won AV

Yea, was actually fun. I hear they took out all the aq40/karazan etc long attunement chains

not entirely sure about that

probably when the cataclysm hit they were wiped out

for the raids that got gutted and re-purposed into level 85 waste of time shit, such as aq20

kara never had an attunement, just a chain to get the key to open the door, and i think they removed all keys, because first time logged in i had like 7 mails from the game with 2g50s each for "keys that no longer exist"
