This again, but cruel.

I've died to him twice in Cruel. Both times to huge amounts of desync. lvl 53 and 52 (desync back into explodey guys and lightning hose)

But I got a 70 Ethereal Knives Scion that beat him pretty easily at 52 (no desync yay).
I don't find him very difficult, the area is just laggy as shit and desyncs happen often with those lightning trap things on the ground.

You can probably just grind the docks til 60 and just out level him though.

Desyncs are devastating though (especially on hardcore)
But other than that, it's a very well made game.

been checking resources for like 20+ minutes.

To combat Desync. Use /oos if you think you are slightly out of sync or know you are. You can also tie it to a macro if you want.

You can't prevent every situation but if you aren't using that command, you should.

Yeah, I do that some times but a lot of the time you can't stop to type it so I should look into a macro for it.

Also, typing /oos re syncs it for not only you but everyone in your party. It can throw them off if they're not expecting it.

full disclosure, fight was still scary, chunks of life just vanish though i could usually pot up in-time for the next chunk. when to town to refill 3-4 times, p4 was cake though outside of the adds do need to be taken care of because they actually start hurting. fight may be easier solo just so his life is not doubled etc.

also, many more rare mobs in CRUEL* so far, good times
