I'd like to purchase a Digital Camera coming up this holiday season for myself, and I was wondering if anyone had something in mind that they owned that they can recommend.
Looking for value, not flashiness.

Checked at Best Buy the other day, seems that 6 Megapixels are only around the 250$ mark these days.

Megapixels... you dont need 6 megapixels.. what you need is good OPTICAL zoom, OPTICAL not DIGITAL. There was a pretty cheap digital cemera at Super Target.. it was like 5.2 MP, then something like 5x (maybe more) optical zoom for about 195$, I might buy it

*looks over at the camera sitting on the desk*
fuji finepix s5600
10X optical zoom
slow manual focus but if you know how to handle an auto focus its not a problem
throw in a 1 gig xd card and your set
does movies with sound aswell but cant zoom in and out while recording, can zoom while not recording but once you start recording your stuck with how you set it.
set of 4 rechargable AA batteries and your laughing

heh I have the same camera. Costs a bit more but the quality, features and ease of use can't be beat. Highly recommend the fuji s5600

So I got one for Christmas
It's a Kodak C743 with a printer dock. My mother bought it for me at Best Buy.
So far I am definately pleased with it and it was pretty reasonably priced.
I'm not a photographer or anything, but I just wanted to get something to capture fun moments and shit that I wouldn't remember when I was drunk. It's doing it's job.
I would have taken pictures of the jail cell on New Year's but the police took it away

It would match my big pink dildo that I use to shove into my ass every night.
