My new processor showed up very recently and its time for some hacksaw intallation procedures. Just want you peeps thoughts on whether I'll get the job done right or totally fuck my comp up.

No votes yet...oh well...looking pretty good so far that I messed it up. The processor is in but as of right now nothing happens when I turn the computer on...

And the word is...didn't kill it but the damn thing didn't work either...must be despite the mobo being the right socket type the overall config can't handle the upgrade I was trying to make. Guess I have to call some manufacturers now to get the details...sigh.
