Tuner means if you have cable that offers hdtv you do not need to spend the extra $$ to rent a cable box with an hdtuner

ALSO PS3 Xbox 360 do NOT have HD tuners in them afaik so without a built in tuner you will have to get a seperate box to get the best pic possible.

Well having one HDMI input would be from like a sat/cable reciever, if you play video games some can use HDMI to get HD signal, if you use a dvd player with HD or whatnot you could probaly use another HDMI cable, but make sure that whatever you get has probaly 2 HDMI, 2-3 component, 2-3 white/yellow/red and 2 coax spots...

Do they make adapters, or like a plug in for it so you can have more than one thing.
IE dvd player, Comp, game system

im going to pretend you didnt actually ask that

since then you would have two inputs on the one, which would be tricky and if your asking these kinds of questions you most likely wouldnt be able to figure it out anyways

A head unit?

I plug everything i have into my head unit (surround sound tuner etc) which in turn goes to my tv

if you are talking about a splitter type deal, it wouldnt be worth the loss of signal

Final question, if no one can answer I'll google when I get home so my results won't be blocked by filter.
Do I need anything extra for it to hook up to my computer, like a card for my comp cables etc

You could also get a VGA cable. Think they're like 10-15 dollars, and most hdtvs have a vga out.
