What I do is just browse the "horror" section of font websites (1001freefonts, abstractfonts, etc).
Something usually comes up
PS the faceless suck. talented, but i hate progressive ANYTHING. plz try whitechapel

I know more deathcore bands than you proabley, check out Heaven Shall Burns original stuff, it's deathcore, now they're more or less metalcore.
Carnifex is amazing on CD and live.
Knights of the Abyss etc.
