Great fit for him.

He is in my opinion the most talented player to ever play this game. He just unfortunately had injury problems.

dh? griffey is still a top tier outfielder. He is not the legendary CF he once was but he can hold his own at all 3 spots.

-that has absolutely nothing to do with outfielding
-he does not have anything remotely close to a .210 batting average any way you look at it
-you are retarded

His defense is terrible right now. He should play only 3 spots, DH, LF, and 1B

Votto is a stud dont be blinded by the chicago bias.
Also Griff had Dunn behind him, an incredibly feared hitter.

Even before Arod had the steroids Griff was head and shoulders better. In his prime not only was he the most feared hitter in the game but the best defensive center fielder and he could steal bases. Arod could only hit.

arod could run, but why would anyone steal bases on that rangers team? so many sluggers they regressed into a 1950's style of baseball.

IIRC arod ran a lot in seattle, but not so much in tex, and not as much in NY because hes over the hill now

he just isnt that great of a fielder, never really has been

1. arod ran in seattle cuz they didnt have as much power and needed to produce runs more, even though there was grif and edgar. in texas they were a slugging team and slugging teams never run
2. he was/is not a bad fielder. he was a premier ss, and moving to 3rd is not as ez as some will have you believe. while range is less important at third, his range is pretty good at third. but 3rd relies more on reaction time and instinct, which only comes with practice.

He was never as good of a fielder at SS as Griff was in CF and yes Cf, SS are defensive premium positions compared to third.

I would have never called him at great glove at SS due to lack of range as did the roids

the one thing he was not short on was his range. his glove was his true shortcomings.
need to go back and check some highlights m8.

i will never accept that
dont try to convince me

griffey is the player of the millennium nobody can compare
now that arod is a convicted faggot i think i have to agree with you here

Even before Arod had the steroids Griff was head and shoulders better. In his prime not only was he the most feared hitter in the game but the best defensive center fielder and he could steal bases. Arod could only hit.
IIRC arod ran a lot in seattle, but not so much in tex, and not as much in NY because hes over the hill now

he just isnt that great of a fielder, never really has been

What?
A-Rod was one of the best defensive shortstops in the league. And he still steals bases in NY.

too easy though

going 162-0 with 2 players averaging more than 1 HR per game is kinda dull
