Rangers didn't give Orr an offer and signed Brashear instead. I guess that's the reward for seriously injuring one of their best players with a cheap shot a month ago.

Wings down 3 forwards and a goalie.
As of now, possibly down 2 more forwards.

Bruins signed Bitz to a multiyear deal, I could care less about the rest of the team. Bitz alone can bring back the cup.

I don't see either of them leaving. Kopecky & Hossa leaves room for Helm & Abdelkader to start now.

Our future goaltending looks very promising as well. Counting Howard, there are potentially 4 great goalies coming up in the system, the other three are 23, 22, and 19.

We just don't really have a PURE goal scorer, Franzens good but babcock just throws him in front of the net, doesn't really have him shoot.

Datsyuk needs to be that guy, he can be, he just always thinks pass first (fucking Russian center, play D & pass syndrome, see Larionov). He's one of the top 3 best stick handlers I've ever seen in my life, he can create magic, he just needs to stop passing first.

Jeremy Williams from Toronto
and
Kris Newbury from Toronto

I believe Jeremy Williams has potential,
no idea who Kris Newbury is,
but if Holland went after him he's proalbey not too shabby.

They lost Hal Gill... if you're telling me he isn't one of the best shut down defensemen, and by losing him they're "better" you're wrong. They also lost Scuderi if i recall correctly, and he's the one that saved them from the wings tieing it up in game 7. Letting Sykora and Satan walk? they're not better than last year. That's all I have to say.

The hardest thing to do is repeat in sports.

And the league wanted them to win. That's all I will say.
